Hi friends, I can't believe I'll be the one to create this forum's first trivia game! XD Awhile back, I was a member of a Final Fantasy forum for a few years, and back there I was known as the "King of FF Trivia". The Objective for this game is: 1. I'll ask any question related to any of the FF series games (1-14) including the side series like Tactics, Mystic Quest etc. 2. You have to answer the question correctly. If you answered the question correctly then you will have the right to make a new question, and people will attempt to answer it and so on...then move on to the next question. So this is somewhat of a brain teaser. You are allowed to look online for the answer....HOWEVER...if you know your knowledge of the games then they should come naturally to you and wouldn't need to Let's Begin! Q: In FFVII, from what enemy can you learn the enemy skill "Big Guard"?

Beach Plug, those weird shelled creatures with tentacles you fight on the beach.
Assuming that's right, here's my trivia question:
What was the name of the fire elemental summon in Final Fantasy 2 (SNES US Version)?

I was actually looking for a different answer. The answer I wanted is a common summon through the FF series, but in the English translation of FF2, it was given a different name than normal - if that helps.

The two original names of the two groups were Prince Goltana for the Black Lion and Prince Larg for the White Lion. The war was known as The Fifty Year War, aka The Lion War.
In Final Fantasy XII: What was the name of the Judge of Bache's twin Brother?

I was actually looking for the names of the groups of knights, but that's close enough. Larg's were the Hokuten, and Goltana's were the Nanten. Also, the fifty year war is actually the war they refer to as having just happened, during the prologue and such. It's over before the game begins. It's how Balbanes, Elmdor, and Cid all became the "heroes" they were considered to be. The Lion War is only as long as the game.
And you can get 2 blood swords in FF2.
In FFVIII, there was one status ailment that was unique, and almost nobody was immune to it.. what was the name of the spell that caused it?

I think the spell you are looking for is Meltdown, which brings the targets Vitality and Spirit to 0. Very nice attack. In FF9, in order to get the all-powerful Excalibur 2, you must reach Memoria in a certain amount of time. What is your time limit and what boss must you defeat once you get there?
